TAMIL NADU TEACHERS ELIGIBILITY TEST - 2019

TENTATIVE KEY

As per Notification No.8/2019 Dated 28.02.2019 , Teachers Recruitment Board conducted the Written Examination for the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test 2019 Paper-I and Paper-II on 08.06.2019 and 09.06.2019 respectively.

Now, the Board has released the tentative key answers for Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates are given time upto 15.07.2019 to submit their representations, if any, regarding objections on the tentative answer keys published, along with the proof for the disputed answer keys, in the prescribed format. Their representation may be sent through post or may be dropped in the Box provided at Teachers Recruitment Board’s Information Centre to reach on or before 15.07.2019 upto 5.30pm. For any objections, candidates should give proof from standard Text Books only. Guides, correspondence course materials and non-standard books are not permissible. For each question use separate format.

Any Objections and materials received beyond the stipulated time will not be entertained.

Utmost care has been taken in preparing the tentative key answers list and in publishing it. Teachers Recruitment Board reserves the right to correct any errors that may have crept in. Incorrect tentative key answer would not confer any right of enforcement.

Applications are invited only through online mode for Teacher Eligibility Test, Paper I and Paper II for the year 2019 from the eligible candidates in Tamil Nadu.Eligibility to Write TNTET (As per GO (MS) No 70, School Education (MS) department dated 12.04.2018)

Minimum Qualifications to write TNTET Paper-I (for classes I-V)
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education(by whatever name known). / 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education/2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). /final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,). 

Minimum Qualifications to write TNTET Paper-II (for classes VI-VIII). 
1. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in
Elementary Education (by whatever name known)./Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)/4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education/final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).

Modes of Examination
Paper-I
Child Development and Pedagogy -30 Questions and 30 Marks
Language-I–Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu: -30 Questions and 30 Marks
Language II – English :-30 Questions and 30 Marks
Mathematics :-30 Questions and 30 Marks
Environmental Studies :-30 Questions and 30 Marks
Total: 150 Questions and 150 Marks

Paper-II
Child Development and Pedagogy -30 Questions and 30 Marks
Language-I–Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu: -30 Questions and 30 Marks
Language II – English :-30 Questions and 30 Marks
Mathematics and Science Teacher/ Social Science Teacher / Any other Teacher either iv (a) or iv (b)  :60 Questions and 60 Marks or 
Total: 150 Questions and 150 Marks

Examination Fees: 
GT, BC,MBC: Fee is Rs. 500/- for all the candidates 
except SC, SCA,ST and Person with Disability: Rs. 250/-.

How to apply:
Candidates should apply only through online mode in the TRB website http://www.trb.tn.nic.in

Instructions:
  1. Use separate application for Paper-I and Paper-II,
  2. A valid e-mail id and Mobile Number,
  3. A Recent Photo:JPG/JPEG /PNG format of size 20-60 kB and Signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of size 10-30 kB)
  4. No written communication will be sent to the candidate. 
  5. The decision of the Teachers Recruitment Board 
  6. Examination will be held in all districts.
  7. TET Certificate will be valid for 7 (seven) years. 
  8. Mere holding of a TET certificate does not confer any right to appointment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment. 
  9. Candidates who have secured 60% and above in the TNTET (Paper-I/Paper-II) Examination will be issued with TNTET (Paper-I/ Paper-II)Pass Certificate. However relaxation of 5% marks will be given to BC,BC(M), MBC/DNC, SC, SC(A), ST and Person with Disability Candidates.
