Guide to apply TNEA 2017 Application Online

Register yourself with your details such as email id, mobile number, hsc number, date of birth, username, password.
Visit the registration link given. Read the instruction and proceed. Register yourself with your personal information. Login to the Application Portal. Enter all the academic and category information. Select payment option DD or NetBanking. Make payment then enter your HSC mark details. Submit it to printout. Cost of the application will be Rs.500 for OC/BC/BCM/MBC and Rs.250 for SC/ST
Payment of Application Fee You can make payment by either Netbanking or Demand Draft.
E-Seva Centres Students shall access the Government E-Seva centres to seek help for applying online.

Older Form of Application Filling
Prior to the TNEA 2016 the students must purchase hard copies of the application and fill up the OMR sheets. The filled-in sheets must be sent to the University along with the attested certificate copies. To develop the existing system with more convenience and accurate application processing, the University taken up the online application route from TNEA 2016.

Anna University launches online registration for engg. admissions
Anna University on Friday launched its online registration system for engineering admissions through single-window counselling for the academic year 2016-17.
Candidates can access the application forms at: http://www.annauniv.edu/tnea2016which has detailed
instructions for candidates to peruse before filling out the form. The instructions also includes the specific forms that candidates with disability or wards of ex-servicemen should include if they fall under these categories.
According to the university, more than 1.50 lakh engineering aspirants are expected to get enrolled in engineering colleges in the State through the counselling to be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).
Once candidates fill in the required details in the online application form and hit submit, an application number will be generated, which should be quoted in all future correspondence.
The website also has listed in detail the eligibility rules for applying for the courses. Those applying under eminent sportspersons quota must submit their applications in person at the office of Secretary (TNEA) along with all related documents.
As many as 10,000 e-seva kendras have been roped in for the benefit of candidates from rural areas to apply online.Candidates have been advised to collect an acknowledgement after submitting the application.
